About The Rainbow Connection
August 4th, 2008 by philwalcottThe Rainbow Connection was first established in April 1999 to provide designated accommodation for global and domestic gay / lesbian (LGBT communities) when they travel to explore and experience the many wonders that Central Australia holds.
The country surrounding Alice Springs specifically & Central Australia generally is magnificent in so many respects - to the point that the concept of Alice IS Wonderland was born to highlight this. We aim to provide our guests with an enduring experience that compliments their visit to our region. Alice Springs boasts a lively & vibrant LGBT community welcoming visitors that come for a few days, a week or years!! Some visitors end up staying to work for a while and ‘be’ in this fantastic place. There is plenty of work, the general community is warm and inviting, there are no traffic issues, the area is well-serviced with infrastructure and a dynamic tourism sector.
The property consists of a main home with a deluxe guest room (singles/couples) attached and an adjacent stand-alone second home that has three standard bedrooms (singles, couples, doubles or small groups). Glenn and I invite you to join us in Wonderland just whenever you can make it. Do yourselves a favour - we did!!
